About Me
Klára Nováková · Independent Security & Risk Adviser
I am a security and risk management specialist with more than 13 years of experience in the public sector, primarily in complex international environments. My work combines analytical thinking, field experience and the ability to place information in a wider context.
Over the course of my career, I have worked in environments where it was necessary to assess situations using multiple sources, distinguish relevant information from background noise, and work with risk and uncertainty. I now bring this experience to my independent advisory work with organisations and individuals.
I believe good decisions are based on a clear understanding of the situation, a realistic assessment of risk and the ability to look beyond what is immediately apparent.
I also advise women who travel or work independently in unfamiliar or higher-risk environments. The advice is always tailored to the destination, purpose of travel and the individual circumstances of the client.

I approach every engagement individually. I focus on what matters to the client, which wider factors may affect the situation and what the findings mean in practice. I value expertise, discretion and recommendations that reflect the circumstances rather than generic solutions. I work directly with clients to develop an approach that fits their environment, objectives and capabilities.
